About
Your store shouldn't lose shoppers, or the credit for them
Shopify stores quietly lose shoppers and the credit for their sales. We built SignalLane to close those gaps, with rules you write once.
The problem we kept seeing
A Shopify store rarely loses a shopper in one big way. It loses them in small, quiet ones.
The wrong store
A visitor lands on the wrong market and sees the wrong currency, or finds an item sold out that your other store still sells.
What SignalLane does
A rule sends them to the right store, or offers it in a banner they can close.
Geo rulesLinks that break
A product moves and its old address becomes a 404 that still gets clicks. Move to Shopify from another platform and every old link breaks on launch day.
What SignalLane does
Visitors get somewhere else to go, and SignalLane creates the Shopify redirects you approve.
Moving to ShopifyPages that read poorly
AI assistants and search engines are sending shoppers too, but they read a page poorly when its images have no descriptions and its search engine text is missing.
What SignalLane does
SignalLane lists the image descriptions and search engine text your catalogue is missing, and helps you write them. A weekly check reads what your storefront shows.
AI shopping readinessCredit that disappears
Campaign tags can go missing on a market redirect, and nothing connects two separate stores. The order lands elsewhere and the report says "direct".
What SignalLane does
Campaign details travel with every SignalLane redirect, and orders that followed one are marked as assisted.
Attribution
What we believe
These are the rules we build by. They shape what SignalLane does, and just as much what it refuses to do.
The shopper always comes first
A rule can send someone on, but a banner or a notice lets them choose, and nobody is bounced in a loop. If a check fails, SignalLane leaves the visitor on the page they asked for rather than guessing.
No guesses presented as facts
When SignalLane cannot know something, such as whether you turned a checkout rule on in Shopify, it says so plainly. It never shows a default or an empty result as if it were the answer.
Private by default
SignalLane keeps no shopper names, phone numbers or addresses, respects the consent your cookie banner collects, and honours Shopify's privacy requests. Raw visit records are kept 30 days.
Built on Shopify's own platform
SignalLane runs as a theme app embed, a web pixel and checkout extensions, all switched on from your Shopify admin. It never changes your products, pages or redirects unless you ask it to, by pressing a button or switching on an automatic option yourself.
Changes you can undo
Before SignalLane writes alt text, search engine text or a description, it keeps the text it replaces: you can undo alt text and search engine text for 90 days, and descriptions and page text for 30 days. Change history lists every change, and you can remove any redirect it made.
AI helps only when you ask
AI writes only about your own products, collections and pages, and every answer passes safety checks before you see it. Nothing is saved until you approve it, unless you switch on automatic fill yourself.
Who it is for
- Any Shopify store that wants to stop losing shoppers, from a single store to Markets and separate regional stores.
- Teams who pay for traffic and need the order credited to the campaign that brought it, whichever store it lands on.
- Stores that want visitors in the right currency and language without hiding the choice from them.
- Stores moving to Shopify from another platform, who need their old links to keep working.
- Stores that need to close for a while, for a launch, a holiday or a stock count, without losing their visitors.
- Teams who want search engines and AI assistants to read their catalogue well.
